"Girl in Room 105 is another but different storyline of CB comparing with the other books of him. It is about a broken heart IIT ian Keshav Rajpurohit. He was in a relationship with a kashmiri girl named Zara. They broke up 4 years back, however he is still love in with her. Then the typical love story takes a turn when Zara messages him out of the blue and asked him to meet her & wish on her b'day. This meeting was a turning point in his life. What happened next read and find out. After this incident the plot gets thickens and get more interesting.Then there's a witty and a fatty guy named Saurabh is present on the whole journey of keshav he is a very great friend and a supportive one in all the hard times of keshav. If you ever get a friend like Saurabh or a lover like Keshav, be assured that God is with you. Such relations provide relationship goals to one and all. Even I couldn’t help getting jealous of Keshav for having a friend like Saurabh. More over the love story of Zara and keshav the friendship of keshav and sourabh is my favorite thing in this plot. It also endure the current social securityof a right mix of Muslim fundamentalism, Hindu fundamentalism, RSS, Kashmir, Army issues, local Kashmiri portrayal of the Army, police brutality, covering up high-profile murders. As always he also writes this in a simple english and it's cool. Those who CB fans are waiting for a diversification must try this"

"========= কাহিনী সংক্ষেপ ========== কেশব রাজপুরোহিত, যে আইআইটি থেকে পাশ করা করা এক অতি সাধারণ প্রকৌশলী। যেখানে আইআইটি থেকে পাশ করে বেরুনোর পূর্বেই সবার হাতে চাকুরীর প্রস্তাব থাকে, সেখানে অ্যাকাডেমিক দুর্বল ফলাফলের কারণে কেশবকে এখনো চন্দন অরোরার প্রতিষ্ঠিত ভর্তি কোচিং সেন্টারে শিক্ষকতা করে দিন যাপন করতে হয়। শুধু তাই নয় পরিবারের ঘোরতর আপত্তির কারণে তাকে তার দীর্ঘদিনের পুরনো প্রেমের সম্পর্ককেও ভেঙ্গে ফেলতে হয়। তার সাবেক প্রেমিকা জারা; সেও সব ঝেড়ে ফেলে সমাজিকভাবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত ও বিশাল অর্থ-বৈভবের মালিক এমন একজনের সাথে নতুন সম্পর্কে জড়িয়ে পড়ে। কিন্তু কেশবের এখন সবসময়ের সঙ্গী হতাশা, মদ আর তার প্রিয় বন্ধু, কলিগ সৌরভ; যে তাকে তাকে এসব বদঅভ্যাস থেকে দূরে রাখার প্রাণান্ত প্রচেষ্টা করে যায় প্রতিনিয়ত। সাবেক প্রেমিকা ও তার তার বর্তমান প্রেমিকের কাছে বারংবার অপমানিত ও প্রত্যাখ্যাত হওয়ার পরেও জারার জন্মদিনের এক গভীর রাতে জারার মোবাইল থেকে কেশবের কাছে এক বার্তা আসে আগের ভুলগুলো শুধরে নিয়ে সবকিছু নতুন করে শুরু করার। কেশবও নতুনভাবে শুরু করার প্রত্যয়ে বন্ধু সৌরভকে নিয়ে ছুটে যায় হিমাদ্রী হোস্টেলের রুম নং- ১০৫ এ! সেখানে যাওয়ার পর সত্যি সত্যিই তার জীবনটা বদলে যায় পুরোপুরিভাবে; সে যেভাবে ভেবেছিলো সেভাবে নয়, তবে একটু অন্যভাবে। পরিচিত মুখগুলোকে বাস্তবতার আলোকে নতুনভাবে চেনার মাধ্যমে। ========= পাঠ প্রতিক্রিয়া ========== মার্ডার-মিস্ট্রি এই বইটির প্রথম যে বিষয়টি আমার কাছে সবচেয়ে বেশি যেটা ভালো লেগেছে তা হলো লেখকের লেখনীর ধরণ। গল্পের প্লটটিকে ও চরিত্রগুলো লেখক এমনভাবে একের পর এক বর্ণনা করে গিয়েছেন যে, বই ছেড়ে উঠে আসাটা সত্যিই কঠিন। মজার বিষয়টি হচ্ছে বইয়ের পুরো কাহিনীতো বটেই, এমনকি সকল চরিত্রের গভীরতা পুরোপুরি বোঝার জন্যও বইটির প্রায় শেষ পর্যন্ত পড়ে যেতে হয়। তার উপর কাহিনীতে একাধিক টুইস্টতো থাকছেই! তবে আমার কাছে বইটিতে দিল্লীর পুলিশ ডিপার্টমেন্টকে একটু অতি বেশিই অকর্মমণ্য হিসেবে তুলে ধরা হয়েছে এবং কোচিং সেন্টারের দুই নিরীহ শিক্ষককে বেশিই চালাক। যা আমার কাছে একটু বেমানান লেগেছে। কিন্তু থ্রিলার বা রহস্য পছন্দ করেন এমন পাঠকদের কাছে বইটি নিঃসন্দেহে ভালো লাগবে আমার বিশ্বাস। ব্যক্তিগত রেটিংঃ ৭.৫/১০।"

"The book trailer attracted me to read the book and now im here after reading the book.....this is a thriller book..the reader will feel the thriller till the end of the book.....if you are a thriller and mysterious book lover then i would like to suggest you the book....i feel very sad for keshav...the boy loved her truly....but the girl....!!!! For me it was impossible to guess the murderer till the end.....this book is very interesting...though this is an unlove story but you will love it😜"

What actually happened in room 105 . It is also a story of love and unlove . A story of Keshav the boy who loved . The reader will feel the thrill till the end of the book . One may also get lost in the memory of his or her first love, this book is a journey of all of this , one will find this book interesting for sure"

"I bought this novel with excitement. However, I was so curious after I heard about the title. But I did now not find the book beneficial. I discovered it a regular love story. The start of the love story is pretty exciting and may hook up readers to recognize what occurs in addition. Though the entire of the story is once more a love beginning, then a separation, then coming again together thru a climax, and then they lived thankfully ever after. The writer has also targeted on a few social troubles triumphing in Bihar and has also succeeded in quoting a few historic statistics. The tale has no longer plotted, it seems as the writer had got out of thoughts and consequently, has scribbled by any means viable simply to submit a book"

"Once more a block buster from Chetan Bhgaat and this time it is a double dhamaka- A love story with murder thrown in for special investigative effort. For those who have lived in hostels, this will be a trip down the memory lane. Fast paced as his other novels, this racy and thrilling chase culminates in Agatha Christie style novel with novice investigator identifying the murderer in front of audience, in typical Poirot style. Having worked with him as part of a reality show in ABP News, I was happy to see him mention the news channel in the plot. Great read ."

"The girl in the room 105. One may presume the story must be about a girl and her insight as the story moves forward. But, precisely, the story is all about the boy who is madly in love with his ex and desperate to bring the murderer into the light. firstly, the story is so presumable for those readers who are into crime thrillers or even not. So, there is absolutely nothing much to exaggerate his creativity in the respective genre. the protagonist, keshav rajpurohit, is any usual guy whose life is running behind bars and waiting for the moment of getting back to his ex. Of course, there are some commendable qualities in him. But, sometimes, I personally feel there are times in the novel where the stupidity of him is beyond the permissible limit. His companion is a really funny guy who has no prominence except to pass humorous lines at inappropriate times. I think, the intention of the author is to break the thrill by passing some funny jokes. I understand. But, excuse me, your friend is mourning for his ex, you are planning to eat something spicy this weekend. Wow. And hello, that's really funny. Leaving this issues apart, the author has really done a good job, ( on comparing to his previous books), and his depiction of the conscience, madness, unbalanced emotions, generic worries of the protoganist is really worthy of appreciation. A reader can enjoy the read only when he has zero expectations, a bit of pushup to complete the book, and mostly patience."
